Pakshipathalam


Located at a distance of 1,740 kms above the sea level and is one among the challenging spots for tourists across Wayanad who are looking for some adventure and fun. You will be met with deep caves, thick rock blocks and wild forests during the trek. You can reach the top after travelling 16 kms. The Brahmagiri hills are located near to Pakshipathalam and are one of the most interesting places to visit. The climate is moderate and the best season for trekking is from November to April.

Kodikuthimala

Kodikuthimala also known as the Ooty of Malappuram  is a hill station in the Malappuram district of Kerala in India. Located in Vettathur and Thazhekode villages, at a height of 522 m above sea level, this is the highest geographic peak in Amminikkadan hills .The idyllic setting of this hilly area is truly fascinating. Ever-flowing springs, waterfalls, a watchtower and the Suicide Point are the main attractions here. Nedumkayam Ecotourism

Nedumkayam Bridge Nedumkayam is 14 km from Nilambur town, in Malappuram district, Kerala, India. Nedumkayam is noted especially for its rich rain forests. The wooden rest house build here by the British offers a panoramic view of the elephant and deer grazing in the forest nearby. One has to get prior permission from the Indian Forest Service to enter the forest zone. Heavy restrictions are imposed as a measure to save the existing forest land and wild animals. An elephant taming center is also located here. Nilambur including Nedumkayam has been selected for being developed as Kerala's second ecotourism destination.
