Chembra Peak Wayanad



This is the best place where you can explore your passion to trek along the tallest of the Wayanad hills that is at a height of 6,900 feet. This is a popular choice for trekking among adventurists travelling across Wayanad. It is safe and also guides are always keeping a close watch at amateurs from a close distance. Tourists can acquire trekking equipments on rent.










You will be met with a feast of green meadows while you trek towards the Chembra peak. The slopes at the feet of the peak are quite steep which takes a different shape as the trekker moves upwards. The trekker treks across 7 hills before he finally reaches Chembra and usually it takes around 3 hours if the trekker is an expert. The popular Hridaya Saras is located along Chembra where you can camp at night. September to February is among the best seasons to visit Chembra and the trek distance is just 9 kms.

Kodikuthimala

Kodikuthimala also known as the Ooty of Malappuram  is a hill station in the Malappuram district of Kerala in India. Located in Vettathur and Thazhekode villages, at a height of 522 m above sea level, this is the highest geographic peak in Amminikkadan hills .The idyllic setting of this hilly area is truly fascinating. Ever-flowing springs, waterfalls, a watchtower and the Suicide Point are the main attractions here. Nedumkayam Ecotourism

Nedumkayam Bridge Nedumkayam is 14 km from Nilambur town, in Malappuram district, Kerala, India. Nedumkayam is noted especially for its rich rain forests. The wooden rest house build here by the British offers a panoramic view of the elephant and deer grazing in the forest nearby. One has to get prior permission from the Indian Forest Service to enter the forest zone. Heavy restrictions are imposed as a measure to save the existing forest land and wild animals.
